What are the limits on cash
transactions ?
As per Central Bank of Kuwait guidelines
on AML & KYC cash transaction are permitted upto
KD 3000/= per customer per day. Any transaction above
KD 3000/= per day is accepted by Cheque or K.Net or
Bank Transfers.

Is Foreign Currency Cash available
at our branches ?
All branches of City Exchange are
well stocked with major currencies and in all denominations.Kindly
avail of our excellent rate package that is offered
in all the branches.

What are the acceptable Identification‘s
that can be used for personal remittances while transacting
with us ?
As per Central Bank of Kuwait
guidelines, a valid/ unexpired
1) Civil Id
2) Passport
Are acceptable forms of identification
one can use the for performing a transaction at any
of the branches of City Exchange.

Can Driving License be used
as Identification while performing a Transaction?
The driving license is not a valid
Identification as per Central Bank of Kuwait Guidelines.

Is there any limit for payments
in cash?
As per Central Bank of Kuwait
guidelines, we can only accept up to 3000 /- in cash
for any transactions. For amounts above 3000/- you make
use of K-NET , Bank transfer to our account with local
bank , Cheque from your Account ( Subject to realization
)

Currently we do not accept
payments from Credit Cards

What details should be provided
for a Western Union transfer?
Western Union transfer requires the
sender to provide the following at the time of making
a transfer:
1) Name of the Receiver
2) Destination Country
3) Amount to be sent
4) Type of currency
Please make sure to give the accurate
name of the receiver as per the identification the receiver
is going to produce.

for sending a Electronic Funds Transfer to my account?
It is always important to
provide your accurate bank details in order to avoid
any discrepancies. The following information is required.
1) Beneficiary Name
2) Account Number
3) Bank Name
4) Branch Name & Branch Address.
Transfers for specific countries might require more
details. Kindly contact the branch
nearest to you for further details.
